Butters is a P.I.M.P.

I was begining to think the south park had jumped the shark but tonights episode was one of the best in a long time (probably since the satanic creatures in the forest)

If you havent seen it go to Allsp.com and you'll laugh your ass off.

i thought that episode was pretty weak compared to some this season. not that it wasnt funny, just that i dont agree with your take on the series. i dont think it ever lost a step yet.

Yeah, I wasn't overly impressed with the episode...it was alright, but definitely not their best effort...nothing to write home about, and by home I mean ECG. ;-)

I think the greatness of south park is its shock value and at least with the newest season, the shows have gone too politicial so some of them lost the plot or joke in the process although that being said the Jo Bro one was really good.

southpark's strength has nothing to do with politics. it has everything to do with being perfectly and extremely topical. it was what, 3 days from when that old british lady did her thing on britains got talent or whatever tilll southpark made a joke about it (ike said he'd shoot himself if her heard one more person talk about it).

the reason southpark is owning it now is because they have the ability to stay topical but still have retarded plots. and ALL of it ends up showing how retarded people are. more so than the stars they parody.

fwiw, i liked the butters bottom bitch epi, and if it was in any other season, it would be a great one. but this season they've been knocking it out of the park epi after epi.

I ment political takes on current affairs when I said politics.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_(season_13)

From the current season I thought shows like Margaritville, Fatbeard, Wale Whores, the Coon, Pineword, Queef and Pee, had good ideas but the shows ended up being flat. So for me Butters Bottom Bitch and The Ring were the only good ones from this season but to give them credit in my opinon automatic South Park classics.

Although I imagine South Park is based on a matter of taste. Over the last few years since the grade 4 episodes this would be my top 10.

1. Woodland Critter Christmas
2. Ginger Kids
3. The Ring
4. Butters Bottom Bitch
5. You Got F'd in the A
6. AWESOM-O
7. Elementary School Musical
8. Stanley's Cup
9. Good Times with Weapons
10. The Ungroundable

are you fucking shitting me? this is quickly becoming one of the best seasons ever.
the coon, eat pray queef, fatbeard, wtf, dances with smurfs and last week's pee have been among their best yet.
i particularly enjoyed dances with smurfs.

i suspect the reason you don't like it as much is because they've been riffing on the right side of things lately, rather than playing it down the centre by exposing the absurdities of all sides. i don't think the guys at south park are any different, it's that america after the election has changed - at least the media landscape has. right wingers in media, now out of power and full of fear, have now gone totally insane in america. the word 'hyperbole' doesn't even cover it in the slightest. the parody of media figure like glenn beck would have been a lot funnier on a normal episode of south park, but glenn beck is already so crazy, he's actually difficult to exaggerate to the absurd extreme even for parker and stone. not unlike tina fey's parody of sarah palin where she used the quote from the couric interview verbatim, i was amazed at how little they have distort beck's image to get huge laughs.
if i knew what you were saying, i wouldn't have to listen to you talk in the first place. knowhati'msaying?

some people look at southpark with expectations of it being mindless. as if they are waiting for the "hook". other people just watch it for what it does. this show is fucking genius, and this season has not dissappointed at all. season 10 is great, but it doesnt have shit on this season. matt and trey have taken it to another level.

f-word? instant classic
wtf? classic
dead celebrities?
whale whores?
fishsticks?
pee?

i love awesome-o too but this season takes it.

Good example. Smurfs great concept and I did enjoy the show but how many real laughs did it have in it.

Maybe Butters pissing on the door and the Kasey Kasem spin off but the rest of the show was just plot.

Where almost every second line in Butters Bottom Bitch was "I can't beleive this is on TV, I'm hurting myself laughing" funny.

Even anti-left episodes like Whale Whores which show how tree huggers act as if there doing something good but in reality are only attention whores took 28 minutes to show a punchline which wasn't even that funny.

In terms of F-Word and WTF - Yes Bikers and Wrestlers are ghey but do we really need a complete episode to show us that. Again watchable but not great in my opinion.

That's all I can think of any time a group of Harleys pass by now.

Still though, I won't be the one to inform the ones riding them of the new definition of that word...
